In Haryana, Ambala recorded a maximum of 36.4 degrees Celsius, over a notch below normal. Karnal, Bhiwani and Gurugram also recorded below normal maximums of 37 degrees Celsius, 38 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius, respectively. However, Rohtak was the hottest place in the state, recording a high of 41.3 degrees Celsius.
