The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will resume on May 17, following a recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan, which had caused the league's suspension.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced via social media that the updated schedule would be revealed shortly, with the final set for May 25.
Initially, plans were made to relocate the league to the UAE, but those plans were suspended. A PCB source has confirmed that efforts are underway to bring back overseas players for the final stages of the league, tentatively scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
