Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar is set to make history with his pursuit of a fourth Tour de France title. At just 26 years old, Pogacar has already won both the Giro d'Italia and the Tour in the same year, a feat only achieved by the late Marco Pantani in 1998. His main competitor is Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard, who also has his sights set on victory after falling short last year.

The prestigious race kicks off on July 5 in Lille and spans 21 stages, covering 3,339 kilometers. Significant changes mark its conclusion on July 27, where riders must conquer the narrow, cobblestone streets of Montmartre Hill, diverging from traditional parade finishes.

Pogacar's formidable form, bolstered by a recent Critérium du Dauphiné win, marks him as the favorite contender. However, avenues for surprise remain open with seasoned rivals like Primož Roglic and rising stars such as Matteo Jorgenson poised to challenge for the title.
