Double Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra will host the Neeraj Chopra Classic in Bengaluru, juggling organizational duties and personal training. The event, featuring top international athletes, aims to elevate Indian athletes' performances. The competition follows Chopra's recent victories in Paris and Ostrava.

Double Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra highlighted the challenges of managing both organizational responsibilities and personal training ahead of the Neeraj Chopra Classic, a top-tier international javelin event bearing his name. The prestigious competition is slated to occur at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru this Saturday.
Chopra, fresh off his victories at the Paris Diamond League on June 20 and the Ostrava Golden Spike on June 24, expressed the difficulty in allocating adequate time for training amid event preparations. Despite these hurdles, Chopra remains committed to making the event successful and capitalizing on the exposure it offers Indian athletes to compete with international talent.
The Neeraj Chopra Classic will feature a 12-man field, including seven international athletes such as Germany's Thomas Rohler and Kenya's Julius Yego, alongside five Indian competitors. The event promises to be a stepping stone for Indian athletes to thrive on a global stage.
