Day 6 of the Oriental Cup 2025 was marked by exciting developments as finalists in both categories were confirmed, according to an official release. Sanskriti School and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridabad emerged victorious, securing their spots in the highly anticipated girls' final. The Mother's International School demonstrated resilience, earning a crucial point to secure a berth in the boys' final against DPS RK Puram. Both finals are slated for Tuesday at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, promising a captivating end to this year's tournament.

Zafar Iqbal, the celebrated captain of India's 1980 Olympic gold-winning hockey team, will grace the finals as the Chief Guest, expected to inspire young athletes with his illustrious legacy. Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridabad, showcased their prowess with a commanding 4-0 victory over St. Francis De Sales Sr. Sec. School in the final group stage match of the girls' category. Under the guidance of coach Inderjeet, standout performances saw Ishu score early, followed by a hat-trick from Nidhi, leading their team to top the group.

Defending champions Sanskriti School maintained their impeccable form by defeating Amity International School, Noida 3-0 in their group. Aditi Chamoli's brace and Amina Abdali's goal solidified their place in their third consecutive Oriental Cup final. On the boys' side, The Mother's International School held Amity International School, Noida to a goalless draw, with goalkeeper Amogh Shandilya delivering game-saving performances. They will confront a formidable DPS RK Puram team in the final. Meanwhile, Navy Children School and New Green Field School ended their match in a 0-0 draw, closing the league stage without altering group standings.
