Argentine racer Franco Colapinto emerged unscathed from a crash during Formula One tyre testing held at Hungaroring circuit, as confirmed by his Alpine team.

Alpine, along with teams like Ferrari and McLaren, participated in the two-day Pirelli test following the Grand Prix weekend. Colapinto, stepping in for Paul Aron, encountered 'an incident' at turn 11.

Despite the crash, which added to a challenging season marked by confidence issues, Colapinto underwent a medical assessment and was deemed fine, although further car performance remains under scrutiny.
