Gulbadin Naib, an all-rounder for Afghanistan's cricket team, has praised Team India, hailing them as the top team in both Asia and the world. Naib, who has played alongside Indian cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL), expressed his admiration for their skills and the learning opportunity it presented. 'India is the best team in Asia and the world; you get to learn a lot from these boys,' Naib told ANI.
Having been part of the Delhi Capitals in the IPL, Naib highlighted the invaluable experiences gained from sharing the field and the locker room with Indian players. He acknowledged that while no team can be considered a clear favorite in the often-unpredictable T20 format, India stands out on paper as the strongest contender. Naib has represented the Delhi Capitals in two IPL games, gaining firsthand exposure to high-level cricket.
Discussing the volatile nature of T20 cricket, the Afghan all-rounder noted any player can be a game-changer. 'In T20 cricket, one player can change the course of the game, whether from the top order, middle order, or the lower order, or it's a spinner, any player on their day can change the game,' Naib explained. He described T20 as a source of entertainment, attracting players eager to make a mark for their country.
