Apollo Tyres has forged a significant three-year strategic partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), as its logo was unveiled on the Indian men's cricket team jersey for the first time. This event took place in Ahmedabad before the opening Test match against the West Indies.
The logo's appearance, just after its debut on the women's team jerseys during their match against Sri Lanka, underscores Apollo Tyres' noble commitment to supporting and celebrating India's passion for cricket. Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Apollo Tyres Ltd, expressed his pride, noting the partnership as an embodiment of determination and excellence.
In the match, KL Rahul's poised half-century helped lead India to 121/2 by the end of Day 1, trailing the West Indies by 41 runs. Despite challenges from West Indies bowlers, Indian openers Jaiswal and Rahul displayed resilience before rain interrupted play at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
