In a remarkable achievement, Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has climbed past former captain MS Dhoni to become India's fourth-highest six-hitter in Test cricket. This milestone was achieved during the first Test match against West Indies in Ahmedabad, where Jadeja's aggressive gameplay was evident.

On the second day of the Test, Jadeja stood unbeaten with 50 runs off 81 balls, striking four sixes and three boundaries. His spirited play saw him surpass Dhoni's record of 78 sixes in 90 Tests, reaching 79 sixes in 86 Tests at a formidable strike rate of 61.

Jadeja's batting prowess was complemented by Dhruv Jurel, as the duo led India to an imposing total of 326/4. Together, they consistently secured runs, with Jadeja steering the innings aggressively, including a strategic partnership that pushed India's lead past 100 runs. At the close of the session, their partnership remained unbroken, setting India on a promising path.
