Two employees of the Delhi and District Cricket Association have been served notices by police as part of a broader probe into a black-market operation selling IPL tickets, officials disclosed on Wednesday.
A senior officer from the Delhi Police mentioned, under the condition of anonymity, that these notices are integral to the ongoing investigation of the IPL ticket fraud case, with interrogation of the employees expected to take place shortly.
This development follows the recent arrest of three accused individuals who were caught selling IPL tickets at exorbitant rates, posing as DDCA representatives. An FIR has been filed, and efforts continue to uncover additional participants in this ticket scam racket linked to online betting syndicates.
