The state's CID crime branch has reclaimed Rs 116 crore from cyber fraud attempts, focusing on investment fraud while addressing phishing, online scams, and card frauds.
To bolster defenses, state-level CID cybercrime units have been reinforced, with new cyber police stations set up in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati.
