Meetings led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann have outlined ambitious plans to ensure flawless execution, with emphasis on infrastructure completion well before the September deadline.
To oversee the preparations, a high-level committee comprising experts and stakeholders will be established. This group, alongside a senior officers' committee, will monitor and expedite progress at key venues in Jalandhar and Mohali. The facilities are set to be upgraded to meet international standards, showcasing Punjab's commitment to quality.
The Chief Minister stressed the critical role this tournament plays in inspiring youth engagement with sports. As Punjab readies itself for this historic first, supporting Hockey India's efforts remains a priority, ensuring security, logistics, and player amenities are efficiently managed.
