State-run telecom giant BSNL has inked a crucial deal with Numaligarh Refinery Limited to launch India's first 5G private network in the refinery sector, an official statement confirmed on Sunday.
This landmark memorandum of understanding was formalized during the 'Industry 4.0 Workshop for CPSEs', under the aegis of the Ministry of Finance in Guwahati.
BSNL's chairman, A Robert J Ravi, emphasized this partnership's role in empowering India's strategic industries through next-gen digital infrastructure, paving the way for digitally intelligent and self-reliant advancements.
