NIELIT Partners with Top Firms to Revolutionize Industry-Driven Training

Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, called upon the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) to collaborate with leading companies to provide industry-driven training. During the launch of India's first digital university, he emphasized the importance of redesigning courses to meet industry and student demands.
Vaishnaw unveiled five new centers of NIELIT Digital University in various states, stressing the need for the institution to lead in industry-aligned education. The minister highlighted the urgency of teaching skills required by the market rather than relying on outdated curricula.
Electronics and IT Secretary, S Krishnan, expressed optimism about India's potential as an electronics manufacturing hub. He noted NIELIT's significant role in talent development, particularly in cybersecurity. The event witnessed NIELIT signing partnerships with companies like Microsoft and Dixon Technologies, strengthening its commitment to relevant skill-building.
