Atomgrid's R&D Centre: A New Era in Specialty Chemicals
Atomgrid has inaugurated a new research and development center in Bengaluru, aimed at meeting the global demand for non-China alternatives in the speciality chemicals supply chain. The facility plans to expand its team and focus on innovative processes, following a significant pre-Series A fundraise.

Atomgrid, a full-stack specialty chemicals platform, has opened a state-of-the-art research and development center in Bengaluru. This strategic move is in response to the increasing global demand for supply chain alternatives to China.
Currently, the facility houses 15 scientists and researchers, with plans to increase the headcount to 25 over the next year. The center's capabilities include route scouting, process development, and technology transfer for commercial-scale manufacturing.
Siddharth Gupta, co-founder of Atomgrid, emphasized India's pivotal role in the specialty chemicals sector, noting the global need for providers that blend innovation with execution. The launch, backed by a USD 7 million pre-Series A fundraise, aims to enhance Atomgrid's global footprint and R&D prowess.
