DYPIU Partners with Dassault Systèmes to Launch Cutting-Edge Digital Engineering Hub
D Y Patil International University (DYPIU) has signed an MoU with Dassault Systèmes to establish a Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Experience Centre. This initiative aims to align academic learning with industry requirements, enhance student employability, and foster innovation in Maharashtra's Smart Manufacturing field.
D Y Patil International University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Dassault Systèmes to develop an advanced Digital Engineering and Digital Manufacturing Experience Centre on campus. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs, enhancing student employability and fostering practical expertise in line with evolving global standards.
The Experience Centre, which will be among the first of its kind in Maharashtra, seeks to align DYPIU's Smart Manufacturing curriculum with innovative digital technologies. Students will be exposed to virtual twins, generative design, and digital manufacturing systems, creating a talent pool that is industry-ready and equipped to tackle real-world challenges.
As part of the partnership, a series of initiatives including live projects, certification programs, and internships will be available to students. The agreement also includes a Training of Trainers program to develop faculty expertise, ensuring the academic environment stays at the cutting edge of technological advancement and industrial relevance.
