Uno Minda Accelerates Alloy Wheel Expansion with New Haryana Plant

The facility, with a capacity of 15 lakh wheels annually, aims to meet rising demand. Uno Minda also boosts production at Maharashtra, increasing total capacity to 95 lakh units.

In a strategic move to meet the burgeoning demand in the auto industry, Uno Minda, a leading auto components manufacturer, announced the approval of a new manufacturing plant in Haryana. This facility is set to produce two-wheeler alloy wheels and represents an investment of approximately Rs 200 crore.
The state-of-the-art plant will be established in Bawal, Haryana, and is projected to have an installed production capacity of 15 lakh alloy wheels per year. This expansion is driven by recently secured orders and an increase in market demand, according to a company regulatory filing.
Moreover, Uno Minda has ramped up its production capabilities by adding 20 lakh alloy wheels annually at its Supa, Maharashtra facility. With this, the company's total annual production capacity will rise from 80 lakh to 95 lakh wheels, aiming to position itself as a frontrunner in the alloy wheel sector.
