The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has announced a forward-looking initiative aimed at facilitating global employment opportunities for the state's youth.
He instructed the Labour and Employment Department to create a comprehensive digital platform that will provide transparency and accessibility to job seekers. This tool will include a detailed database of job aspirants and NRIs from Himachal Pradesh, offering a more streamlined approach to overseas employment.
By studying the successful models from Kerala and Telangana, where overseas employment is significantly higher, he aims to emulate their strategies and improve the overseas employment rate for Himachal's youth, thereby boosting both individual prospects and the state's economic remittances.
