Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced an expansion of the 'Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayta Bhatta Yojana' to offer financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month to unemployed graduates.
The scheme, part of the government's seven resolves programme, previously benefited only intermediate-passed youths. It now includes graduates in arts, science, and commerce, aged 20-25, who are not pursuing further studies or employed.
This initiative aims to enhance youth employment and skill development in Bihar, with an ambitious goal of creating one crore job opportunities in the next five years, in both government and private sectors.
