AvenuesAI Limited is poised to make a significant investment move by acquiring up to a 2.5% stake in Ratnaafin Capital. This decision marks a pivotal step in AvenuesAI's quest to develop an AI-driven embedded finance and digital lending ecosystem, focusing on partnerships with specialized NBFCs.

On Friday, the company disclosed through stock exchange filings the board's approval of this strategic proposal, emphasizing its alignment with AvenuesAI's 'liability-light' lending strategy. This approach involves functioning as an AI-driven distribution platform, with NBFC partners managing underwriting and lending operations.

Vishal Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director, highlighted the synergy between AvenuesAI's AI infrastructure and Ratnaafin's SME lending strength. Positioned in Ahmedabad, Ratnaafin is renowned for its SME financing capabilities, backed by the Ratnamani Sanghvi Family Group.

AvenuesAI intends to leverage its platforms, including CCAvenue, Rediff, and RediffPay, to provide merchant-focused solutions like working capital finance. The broader strategy includes building AI-driven analytics for risk monitoring and custom lending products.

This investment symbolizes AvenuesAI's transition from being merely a technology and payments platform to a key player in India's AI-led lending infrastructure ecosystem.
