Professor Suspended Over Admission Scam in Govt College

Abhijit Nath, an assistant professor at Ramthakur College, has been suspended for allegedly facilitating unauthorized student admissions, officials confirmed.

The scandal came to light following media reports, prompting a government investigation which uncovered Nath's misuse of 120 fee cards, out of which 69 unauthorized admissions were documented.

This act has been labeled as a serious breach of admission protocols, resulting in Nath's immediate suspension under the Central Civil Services rules. Investigations are ongoing to assess the full scope of the forgery.
