The 2025 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW), held in Guiyang, Guizhou, kicked off on July 26, highlighting the theme 'Smart Education Empowering People-to-People Exchanges.'

This event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aimed to deepen China-ASEAN educational cooperation for common development. Over four days, 116 activities demonstrated Chinese and ASEAN cultural achievements.

CAECW remains the sole intergovernmental platform focused on education between China and ASEAN. Plans include forming joint colleges and signing 60-plus agreements, significantly contributing to bilateral relations and a closer regional community.
