Samajwadi Party MP Zia ur Rehman Barq has expressed serious concerns over the alleged NEET paper leak, highlighting it as a failure of the BJP government to ensure transparent and fair examinations. He pledged to address this issue at the forthcoming Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education meeting set for May 21.
Barq criticized the government's inability not only to create jobs but also to maintain the integrity of important examinations, which affects countless students. He pointed out an alleged involvement of a BJP worker in the paper leak as worrying and indicative of deeper systemic failures.
The MP called for a swift CBI investigation and reassured students and their families of his commitment to preventing future occurrences. Drawing attention to the impact on nearly 22 lakh students, Barq urged the government to rectify the system that has seen approximately 70 examination cancellations over the past decade.
