The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to convene its annual meeting over three days, starting this Friday, to lay out extensive plans for commemorating its centenary year with a series of nationwide programs. Sunil Ambekar, head of RSS's national publicity and media department, disclosed these plans at a press conference.

Led by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, the meeting will include heads and joint general secretaries from 32 RSS-affiliates, including the BJP. Discussions will focus on organizational progress in various regions, with an emphasis on planning future outreach efforts, including Hindu Sammelans and centenary celebrations.

The centenary year, officially starting in Nagpur on October 2 with the Vijayadashami Utsav, will feature events across RSS units nationwide. Special programs, including Grih Sampark Abhiyan and Samajik Sadbhav Baithaks, aim to broaden RSS's societal influence and foster dialogue on Hindutva and national interests.
