Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has called for cleanliness, drug de-addiction, and healthy living to become nationwide movements. Speaking at the 'Namo Marathon' near Rohtak's Mansarovar Park, he urged youth participation to support the theme of 'drug-free Haryana', marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
Saini, addressing the younger generation, described the day as one of dedication and nation-building. He lauded Narendra Modi's inspiring journey to leadership and highlighted the government's pro-women initiatives. Initiatives like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and Ujjwala Yojana have empowered women, he noted.
The event echoed the CM's call for environmental conservation through campaigns like 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'. Stressing the Swachh Bharat Mission's success, Saini noted that cleanliness is everyone's duty, not just that of sanitation workers.
