During his visit to Porbandar, Patel offered floral tributes at Kirti Mandir, highlighting Modi's efforts in promoting Gandhi's ideals. He noted the success of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness campaign initiated by the Indian government in 2014, as pivotal in transforming public attitudes toward hygiene.
