Arrest of Musicians in Zubeen Garg's Death Shocks Music Industry
Two musicians, Shakharjyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta, have been arrested in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg. They face charges of culpable homicide, criminal conspiracy, and causing death by negligence. The Assam CID is currently interrogating them in a 14-day police custody.

In a shocking development for the music industry, musicians Shakharjyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta were arrested on Wednesday in relation to the death of renowned singer Zubeen Garg.
Authorities have charged Mahanta and Sharma with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, criminal conspiracy, and negligence leading to death, under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta of the Assam CID has confirmed that the duo is under interrogation after being remanded to a 14-day police custody by a local court.
