Iran Executes Spy Amidst Unrest
Iran executed Erfan Kiani, allegedly working for Israeli intelligence, for vandalism and violence during protests. Accused of acts including arson and public destruction in Isfahan, he was sentenced after confirmation by the Supreme Court, according to reports from Tasnim news agency.
Iran has carried out the execution of Erfan Kiani, who authorities claimed worked for Israeli intelligence, in connection with acts of vandalism and violence.
The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported Kiani was involved in destructive activities, such as arson, in Isfahan amid recent nationwide protests.
He faced accusations of spreading fear and terror, and following legal procedures, his death sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court and executed early Saturday morning.
