Railway Clerk Arrested in Rajasthan for Alleged Rape After Matrimonial Site Meeting
An Indian Railway clerk was arrested in Rajasthan for allegedly raping a woman he met on a matrimonial site. The accused, Teekam from Dausa district, reportedly promised marriage and coerced her into a physical relationship. Police tracked him to Rajasthan after he went into hiding.

In a shocking incident, a clerk from the Indian Railways has been apprehended in Rajasthan for allegedly raping a woman who he met through a matrimonial website, Delhi Police reported.
The accused, identified as 31-year-old Teekam, resides in Khedla Gadali village, Tehsil Mahwa, Dausa district. He allegedly established a sexual relationship with the woman by falsely promising marriage. Employed as a railway clerk in Kolkata, Teekam was detained after a major manhunt.
The incident came to light on February 1, when the victim lodged a complaint at Mayapuri police station. She alleged that Teekam backed out of his marriage promise after forcing her into a sexual relationship. Despite initial searches in Kolkata and his native village, his whereabouts remained unknown until investigators honed in on his Rajasthan hideout. The police operation culminated in his capture on May 3 in Siroli village, Jaipur district.
