Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai conducted a review meeting on Tuesday to evaluate the effectiveness of the Panchayat and Agriculture Department's initiatives and programs. At a joint press conference, Chouhan expressed satisfaction with the fulfillment of providing housing to eligible recipients in Chhattisgarh under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

Chouhan revealed that after the government's inception, over 8 lakh houses were allocated in the state. He commended CM Vishnu Deo Sai for completing houses that had previously been abandoned by a former state scheme. A new survey has been initiated to assess housing requirements for future constructions.

In a related development, the Chhattisgarh government's 'Samadhan Shivir' initiative has seen commendable success in Bastar district, resolving 85% of cases on the spot. Conducted in 13-14 Gram Panchayats of the Jagdalpur district, this initiative addressed over 4,000 applications related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, emphasizing the government's dedication to public service and citizen welfare.

Previously, on May 6, CM Vishnu Deo Sai assessed the progress of the Samadhan camps in Kawardha town, aimed at resolving public grievances.
