In a significant development in anti-terror operations, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde extolled the valor of the Indian Armed Forces for their successful execution of Operation Mahadev. The operation, conducted in the strategic area of Lidwas, resulted in the neutralization of three terrorists in the vicinity of Srinagar's Harwan area near Dachigam National Park.

Addressing the media on Monday, Shinde lauded the Indian Army's efforts, emphasizing the operation as a moment of pride for the nation. "Today, the Indian soldiers have accomplished the task of eliminating terrorists through Operation Mahadev. I salute the Indian Army for this significant achievement," Shinde stated, adding that PM Modi's leadership has provided a strong response to cross-border terrorism.

Confirming the successful operation, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha acknowledged the elimination of three Pakistani terrorists. Meanwhile, BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda highlighted in Parliament that the operation might have neutralized a terrorist linked to the Pahalgam attack. The incident underscores the ongoing commitment to thwart terrorist activities in the region.
