Leading figures from across India's political spectrum, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, expressed their condolences following the death of Shibu Soren, the architect of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). Soren, who passed away at the age of 81 due to prolonged illness, was a pillar for tribal rights and statehood.
President Droupadi Murmu and PM Modi were among the many who visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, where Soren was admitted.
