Karnataka BJP Leader Rebuts Rahul Gandhi's Vote Manipulation Allegations

BJP leader R Ashoka has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his assertions of vote manipulation in Karnataka, maintaining that the responsibility for preparing voter lists lies with officials, not the ruling party.

During a press conference, Ashoka downplayed Gandhi's claims, challenging Congress's integrity in the electoral process. He pointed out that Congress-appointed Booth Level Agents (BLAs) handle preliminary voter lists and questioned the party's actions based on existing irregularities.

Ashoka further accused Congress of past fraudulent voting practices, citing specific instances of voting discrepancies. He argued that the voter list's integrity is maintained by non-political entities like panchayat secretaries and health workers, countering claims of BJP involvement.
