Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure have clarified that the recent actions by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) involving Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd (RCFL) and Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL) do not impact their operations or financial health.
The CBI's chargesheet, aimed at Anil Ambani and associated entities, alleges fraudulent activity resulting in substantial financial losses for Yes Bank. However, Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure maintain their operations remain unaffected and stress their independence.
Both companies emphasize that past issues with RCFL and RHFL were resolved with new management, highlighting that these charges do not influence their current governance or financial performance. They note Anil Ambani has not been part of their boards for years.
