Delhi Court Extends Custody of CM Attack Case Suspects
Delhi's Tis Hazari Court has prolonged the judicial custody of Rajesh Khimji and Tehseen Syed until October 6. The duo, implicated in an attack on the Delhi CM, appeared via video conferencing. The custody extension follows legal proceedings led by Special Public Prosecutor Pradeep Rana.

The Tis Hazari Court in Delhi on Monday extended the judicial custody for Rajesh Khimji and Tehseen Syed until October 6. The suspects, caught up in the Chief Minister attack case, were presented before the court through video conferencing.
Appearing on behalf of the Delhi police, Special Public Prosecutor Advocate Pradeep Rana, alongside Advocate Gagan Bhatnagar, argued the continuation of custody. Rajesh Khimji was apprehended following an alleged assault on the Delhi CM during a public hearing (Jan Sunvai) at her official residence in Civil Lines. Khimji hails from Rajkot, Gujarat.
As investigations progressed, authorities also detained his associate, Tehseen Syed. Both individuals have been placed under judicial custody after thorough police interrogation. Charges against Khimji have been formally registered at the Civil Lines Police Station by the Delhi Police. (ANI)
