The sacred portals of Kedarnath Dham will shut for the winter on October 23, as announced by the Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC). Meanwhile, Badrinath Dham's closure is scheduled for November 25 at 2:56 PM.
The closing dates were determined on Vijayadashami during a ceremonious event at the Badrinath temple. Religious authorities and Vedic scholars, employing Panchang calculations, made these decisions in conjunction with temple officials.
Additionally, plans for traditional rituals and processions to winter seats have been laid out, with significant figures like Shri Uddhav Ji and Shri Kuber Ji due for departure to their respective winter residences.
