In a bid to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, the 84th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) spearheaded a significant cleanliness drive along the banks of the Chenab River in Ramban district. Commandant N Ranbir Singh of the 84th Battalion emphasized the importance of the effort as a tribute to Gandhi's enduring principles of cleanliness and environmental preservation. Singh noted, "On this occasion, we undertook the task of removing plastic and other waste from the river, highlighting our commitment to maintaining its cleanliness and conservation." His remarks were made during an interaction with ANI on Thursday.
