Uttar Pradesh's Agricultural Leap: From Labs to Land

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a remarkable increase in the state's agricultural growth rate from 8% to 18%, citing improved cooperation between scientists and farmers as a key factor.

Speaking at the northern regional agriculture conference, Adityanath highlighted the successful implementation of scientific innovations in agriculture. He emphasized the 'lab to land' approach which has led to faster transfer of research outcomes into farming practices.

Adityanath also mentioned infrastructure improvements, including irrigation and electricity supply, which have supported higher productivity and income for farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
