Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, touched down at Kishangarh Airport in Ajmer, Rajasthan on Monday. He was welcomed by prominent leaders, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and Tikaram Jully, the state's Leader of the Opposition. Gandhi is set to participate in the Congress party's 10-day National 'Chintan Shivir' and Organisational Building Workshop, taking place at a resort near Pushkar in Tilora.
During his visit, Gandhi will conduct a session with newly appointed District Congress Committee Presidents from Rajasthan and Delhi, focusing on direct dialogues about the party's ideology, policies, and organizational growth. In a recent development, Gandhi launched a vehement critique of the Central Board of Secondary Education, targeting its post-result fee structures. He highlighted exorbitant costs for students seeking scanned copies, re-totalling, or re-evaluation, contending that these charges penalize students for systemic errors.
In a post on social media platform X, he slammed CBSE for charging students to rectify mistakes made during digital scanning. He asserted that students, already paying high fees for corrections, are unfairly burdened due to CBSE's procedural flaws. As controversy builds over CBSE's On-Screen Marking evaluation process, the board announced it is fortifying its systems against identified vulnerabilities through enhanced cybersecurity measures. Experts have been mobilized to tighten security and ensure a fair assessment process.
