A recent study by ICICI Lombard General Insurance has revealed that 74% of millennials have made yoga a part of their daily wellness routines. This age group leads in regular yoga practice, closely followed by Gen X at 70%, showcasing a growing trend in prioritizing holistic health approaches.

The pan-India study, timed with International Yoga Day, surveyed about 1,000 respondents across metro and non-metro areas. It delves into health practices, motivations, and awareness levels, painting a picture of how Indians are integrating wellness into their daily lives.

Despite yoga's popularity, the study notes a gap between awareness and actual practice benefits. While 66% associate yoga with stress reduction, only 52% have experienced these advantages. Moreover, preferences for studio classes persist, despite the rise in online yoga formats. Gen X notably adopts complementary health practices like balanced diets and daily walks.
