In a recent incident, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria was admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) following a minor fall.
The Governor received immediate attention from a team of senior specialists, headed by Dr. Vijay G. Goni from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Dr. Rohit Manoj from the Department of Cardiology. According to a PGIMER spokesperson, thorough clinical assessments and investigations were conducted, confirming that the Governor is in a stable condition with no immediate concerns.
Kataria remains under observation, with expectations to resume his routine activities soon. Notably, PGIMER's director Vivek Lal and deputy director Pankaj Rai visited the Governor to extend their best wishes.
