In a remarkable act of generosity, businessman Chirag Purushottam has donated Rs 1 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD)'s SV Pranadana Trust. The donation was presented to TTD chairman BR Naidu, with Revenue Minister A Satya Prasad also in attendance.
SV Pranadana Trust, established to offer free medical treatment to underprivileged patients with critical illnesses, received commendation from Purushottam for its significant impact. The Trust not only provides healthcare, but also promotes research in diseases such as chronic renal failure and thalassemia.
TTD, revered as the custodian of the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, the world's wealthiest Hindu shrine, continues to expand its philanthropic endeavors, thanks to contributions like Purushottam's, which serve to bolster its mission of delivering much-needed medical services to the poor.
