In a devastating incident, a fire at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur led to the deaths of six critical patients. Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his condolences and emphasized that the local administration is making efforts to ensure safety and support for affected families.
Dr. Anurag Dhakad, who oversees the hospital's trauma center, reported that the fire erupted late Sunday in a storage area. The hospital's Neuro ICU had 11 patients at the time, and initial suspicions point to a short circuit as the cause.
Minister Shah used social media to communicate his heartfelt sympathies and pray for the rapid recovery of those wounded in the mishap. Authorities in Jaipur are actively engaged in the ongoing safety and treatment process.
