On Monday, S Jaishankar, India's External Affairs Minister, applauded the work of all-party delegations that visited international partners following Operation Sindoor. Jaishankar declared the delegations had brought pride to the nation by highlighting India's battle against terrorism, receiving a warm welcome and engaging with foreign dignitaries, including some countries' foreign ministers.
Jaishankar noted the delegations led by Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shashi Tharoor, Baijayant Panda, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Kanimozhi, Supriya Sule, and Srikant Eknath Shinde did exemplary work. He emphasized that India's success with 'Zero Tolerance against Terrorism' relies on unity, urging parliament to maintain this solidarity.
Discussing border infrastructure, Jaishankar pointed to significant improvements under the Modi administration, citing increased investments in roads, tunnels, and bridges. He contrasted current efforts with past neglect, subtly criticizing the Congress. Jaishankar also noted India's improved diplomatic relations, including projects in the Maldives and Sri Lanka, as evidence of ongoing regional engagement.
