Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Takes Major Steps: From 'Operation Sindoor' Support to Power Projects

The Andhra Pradesh cabinet has extended its support to the Indian Army for executing 'Operation Sindoor', a strategic initiative reportedly in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Information and Public Relations Minister K Parthasarathy revealed this announcement during a press conference.

Furthermore, the cabinet has approved the introduction of amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. The cabinet has also taken significant steps to raise financial aid for fishermen during the annual fishing ban and approved leasing land for a pumped storage project.

In addition to these decisions, the cabinet greenlighted land transfers for tourism development, the establishment of an Urban Design and Planning cell in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, and authorized adjustments to project rates by the Capital Region Development Authority.
