International Leaders Rally for Justice in Ukraine
British Foreign Minister David Lammy meets with Ukrainian and other foreign ministers in Lviv to support a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. This council aims for a just European peace and accountability amidst global military commemorations.

British Foreign Minister David Lammy is set to meet Ukrainian and 17 other foreign ministers in Lviv, western Ukraine. This meeting seeks to confirm their collective support for establishing a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine, reinforcing justice and accountability in the region.
The British foreign office has emphasized that the meeting will also focus on securing peace in Ukraine. 'We stand for a just and lasting peace, for a secure Europe, and for accountability and justice,' stated Lammy.
The Tribunal, which is to be instituted by the Council of Europe, aligns with the organization's long-standing mission to uphold human rights and the rule of law since its inception post-World War Two. The meeting coincides with Russian President Vladimir Putin's military parade on Red Square with Chinese President Xi Jinping, marking the 80th anniversary of Nazi Germany's defeat.
