The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has issued a strong condemnation of a recent attack by the Pakistani Army on a Gurudwara Sahib in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, which also targeted Sikh civilians.
DSGMC president Harmeet Singh Kalka and general secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon, during a press conference in Delhi, denounced the attack as cowardly and shameful. They expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and assured them full support during this challenging time.
Kalka and Kahlon noted the Pakistani army's tactic of attacking religious sites and civilians instead of confronting military targets, stating it reflects an inability to directly face the Indian Army. They reiterated the DSGMC's willingness to assist in relief efforts and reaffirmed their commitment to humanitarian services, expressing their readiness to serve wherever the government sees fit.
