Tragic Discovery: Couple Found Dead in Rented Home

A tragic incident unfolded in Erattupetta as a married couple was found dead in their rented home, raising suspicions of suicide, according to local police.

The deceased, Rashmi, aged 35 and working as a nursing superintendent, and her husband Vishnu, aged 36, a contract worker, had been residing in Panayappalam for six months.

The discovery was made after Vishnu's mother was unable to contact them, prompting neighbours to investigate. They found the couple's bodies with their hands tied using medical adhesive tape. While initial signs point to a suicide, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the definitive cause of death.
