In a significant development, Uttar Pradesh's Director General of Police, Rajeev Krishna, met with Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command, at the Army Headquarters on Thursday.
The high-level meeting was aimed at enhancing operational synergy between the Uttar Pradesh Police and the Indian Army. Key discussions included real-time intelligence sharing, developing joint response protocols, and establishing disaster preparedness frameworks to strengthen internal security and disaster management efforts.
Both leaders recently had a similar discussion at the state police headquarters in Lucknow. Through their respective posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, they expressed their commitment to advancing strategic convergence for the country's safety and security.
