Arrest in Stabbing Incident Raises Concerns in Northeast Delhi
Two 18-year-olds, Gautam and Hidayatulla, were arrested for stabbing three men in northeast Delhi's Shastri Park area after a confrontation escalated. Two 18-year-old men have been apprehended following a violent incident in northeast Delhi's Shastri Park, where three people were stabbed and injured. The police have identified the assailants as Gautam and Hidayatulla, locals of the area, after an investigation into the attempted murder case was launched on Monday.
The confrontation occurred on July 25, when a PCR call reported a stabbing near Shastri Park Chowk. Upon arrival, police learned the victims had been transported to JPC Hospital by friends. The injured, identified as Ganesh, Vikash, and Gulshan, are all in their mid-20s and were later referred to GTB Hospital for further treatment.
Ganesh informed police that he was summoned to the scene by his friend, Vikash. On arrival, he found Vikash involved in an argument with several individuals. The situation quickly escalated, resulting in the stabbing. Investigation using CCTV evidence revealed a work-related dispute between Gautam and Vikash, which led to the violent encounter. Police investigations continue.
